Setup DNS Server for Ubuntu

Prerequisites

Install BIND

update

apt update

install bind

apt install bind9 bind9utils bind9-doc

edit setup to use ipv4 in /etc/default/named

OPTIONS="-u bind -4"

to use the setting use command

systemctl restart bind9

in /etc/bind/named.conf.options

vi /etc/bind/named.conf.options
